“Ghungroo 2020” organized by Sindhu Nair, All India Dance Festival celebrated it’s mesmerising performance this year. The performance included Yakshagana, Odissi, Khatak, Chhau, Bharatnatyam , Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattyam, Manipuri, Sattriya the classical jewels of the show and on the other hand, folk representation included Karma, Bhangra, Rajasthani, Warli, Kupari, Hojagir, Bihu, Jhumur, Haryanvi, Bengali, Muttapanh song and Maharashtrian Folk lavani.
This beautiful festival was organised at Urban Haat, Cidco, Belapur, Navi Mumbai on 26th January 2020 with many dignatories from silver screen present to bless the artists. IFTCA (Indian Film & Television Choreographers Association) , AAIA(All India Artist Association) and Artist Hub were Associate Partners for Ghungroo 2020 and it took the world on a trance undefined and showed how beautiful are the colors of our nation and how diverse is the womb of mother India. With 50 groups from different zonal and 450 artists under one stage.
We have a walkin 1000 people through out the day and on that night sky was a light more brighter just for our artists.
Dancers brought with them passion and dreams which have tasted reality and above all with all their heart and soul which allowed us to feel every beat in languages and music that we have never explored before and made the world groove to the rhythm of life and magic happen on stage that could never be expressed in mere words.
There is one more interesting fact attached about this festival and that’s the beautiful daughter of Rohitashv Gour ji “( Tiwari ji)Bhabhi ji Ghar par hai fame “was the host of the show. Giti Gour is highly talented Star kid, who is beautiful from both inside and out. As like her mother ( Dr. Rekha Gour) , she is also a social activist. Who contributes their valuable time to the society. The Gour family is running a (AIAA) All India artist association since 1955. AIAA contributed their support in this mesmerising dance festival.
